biography & statement
Midwest-based artist Jenna (Graham) Weix is a visual artist working in acrylic-based painting. Her work is informed by her sensory interpretations of what is real and felt. Weix’s abstract paintings are influenced by experience within a landscape.
Weix lives and works in Wisconsin. She received her BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in 2016 and has participated in exhibitions at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau, WI, and was selected for a juried exhibition by Alyssa Monks at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art.
